February 14–17, 2027 | Music City Center, Nashville, TN
If you’ve ever attended 3DEXPERIENCE® World, you know it’s not just another tech conference. It’s where engineers reconnect with why they love designing, building, and solving problems in the first place. In February 2027, the SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE community is heading to Nashville, Tennessee, for four days of learning, inspiration, and real conversations about the future of engineering.
If you’re curious about how we got here, I previously shared a detailed recap in Everything SOLIDWORKS Announced at 3DEXPERIENCE WORLD 2026!, breaking down the key updates and what they mean for everyday engineering work.
From February 14–17, 2027, the Music City Center will be filled with engineers, designers, educators, students, and industry leaders—all there for the same reason: to learn what’s next and how to use it in the real world.
3DEXPERIENCE World has grown into something special. Yes, it’s where new features are announced and roadmaps are shared—but more importantly, it’s where ideas turn into practical workflows.
Every year, the event reflects how engineering itself is changing. Recently, three themes have stood out:
3DEXPERIENCE World 2027 is expected to build on all of this—and show how these technologies actually fit together in everyday engineering work.
Over the last few years, AI at 3DEXPERIENCE World has shifted from impressive demos to tools that genuinely help engineers work faster and smarter. Virtual assistants trained on SOLIDWORKS best practices showed how AI can guide decisions, reduce repetitive tasks, and help teams stay consistent—without taking control away from the engineer.
By 2027, we can expect AI to be even more deeply embedded across modeling, simulation, and data management, quietly helping engineers focus on what really matters: good design decisions.
One of the most inspiring parts of recent events has been the growing focus on students and education. Initiatives like SkillsForce opened the door for students to use professional SOLIDWORKS tools during internships and early career experiences.
At 3DEXPERIENCE World 2027, expect to see even more student projects, EDU sessions, and conversations that connect classrooms with industry—and remind us why investing in future engineers matters.
Immersive design is no longer a “someday” idea. Spatial computing and virtual twins are already changing how teams review, validate, and communicate designs.
In Nashville, these experiences are likely to take center stage, showing how engineers can walk through their designs, collaborate in virtual spaces, and understand products in ways that weren’t possible before.
One of the standout moments of 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025 was the AAKRUTI Global Finale, celebrating student innovation on a global scale. What started in 2011 as a local initiative has grown into a worldwide movement, bringing together thousands of students from hundreds of universities—including an impressive number of all-women teams.
This year’s winners, Team UJ WOM+N IN TECH from the University of Johannesburg, impressed everyone with their pedal-powered breast pump, a design that blends engineering with real social impact. Congratulations to this inspiring team—we’re excited to see what they create next.
At 3DEXPERIENCE World 2026, Leo showed how simulation can be guided step by step, even for complex cases like a medical device drop test. By helping users define loads and constraints, Leo makes simulation more accessible—while raising an important reminder that understanding the physics behind the results still matters.

Expect hundreds of sessions covering topics like:
Whether you’re new to SOLIDWORKS or have years of experience, the goal is the same: leave with ideas you can use as soon as you’re back at your desk.
The partner and innovation expo is where theory meets reality. It’s the place to see how software, hardware, and services come together in real production environments—and to discover tools you didn’t even know you needed.
What truly sets 3DEXPERIENCE World apart is the people. Conversations happen everywhere—between sessions, during coffee breaks, and at evening events. It’s where challenges are shared honestly and solutions come from people who’ve been there before.
From customer stories to student achievements, the event also takes time to celebrate the individuals and teams pushing engineering forward. These moments are a reminder that technology is powerful—but people are what make it meaningful.
Nashville brings a creative, welcoming energy that fits perfectly with the spirit of 3DEXPERIENCE World. The Music City Center, right in downtown Nashville, offers a modern space surrounded by hotels, restaurants, and iconic music venues.
After a full day of sessions, the city itself becomes part of the experience—making the trip just as memorable as the conference.
