What started in 2011 as a local initiative has grown into a worldwide movement, bringing together thousands of students from hundreds of universities—including an impressive number of all-women teams.

This year’s winners, Team UJ WOM+N IN TECH from the University of Johannesburg, impressed everyone with their pedal-powered breast pump, a design that blends engineering with real social impact. Congratulations to this inspiring team—we’re excited to see what they create next.

Guided Simulation with Leo

At 3DEXPERIENCE World 2026, Leo showed how simulation can be guided step by step, even for complex cases like a medical device drop test. By helping users define loads and constraints, Leo makes simulation more accessible—while raising an important reminder that understanding the physics behind the results still matters.
