The latest R2025x FD01 update for the Product Communicator role introduces the powerful xHighlight Experience Media feature, allowing users to seamlessly share and collaborate on interactive 3D presentations within 3DSwym communities and even embed them on websites.
In this blog post, I will explain how the new “Experience Media” feature in xHighlight allows you to share interactive 3D presentations with communities and explore the ways to display them on a website.
After opening the Microwave project we previously created in xHighlight, I select the Publish Media command from the Standard tab in the Action Bar. This command provides various options for exporting my project. For more details on xHighlight’s features, check out our Product Communicator Playlist
In the newly opened window, I choose the Experience Media section, where I encounter three different control options.
Settings: This section allows me to configure the options I want to include in the 3D presentation.
Compression: This section includes texture compression options.
Destination: Determines where the 3D presentation will be shared.
Since I wanted to share my 3D presentation within the community, I chose 3DSwym. After selecting this option, I adjusted the post details as shown in the image and clicked the “Publish” button. After a brief processing step, xHighlight successfully shared my 3D presentation in the SolidWorks Champions Community.
Now, community members can click the Play button in my post to experience my interactive 3D presentation and provide feedback.
This alone is exciting! But the 3DEXCITE team took it a step further by offering the ability to embed this 3D interactive presentation on a website via xMedia.
To allow us to test this unique experience, they have granted exclusive access to xMedia for Champion Xperience. I will soon create a detailed blog post about this topic. But until then, you can be among the first to explore this incredible experience by clicking the Play button below to test my 3D interactive presentation!

Note: The software is still under development. Therefore, it currently performs best when tested on a computer.
Dassault Systèmes’ cloud solutions are continuously evolving, providing users with new features and opportunities. With this new feature in xHighlight, you can go beyond traditional customer presentations by creating engaging interactive 3D experiences. Additionally, you can integrate technical specifications, balloons, BOM tables, dimensions, and more to enhance product visualization. This innovation not only transforms the way companies showcase their products in 3D on their websites but also elevates the overall presentation experience.
