In the second chapter of the series, I will take a closer look at the Explode feature. This feature allows you to interactively disassemble components in a controlled and visually impressive way. This makes it possible to better visualize the internal structure and assembly details of a 3D model.
2D Button
I duplicated the button I created in the previous section and renamed it Explode/Collapse.
Explode/Collapse Feature
1. Active On
In the previous blog post, I used a keyboard shortcut to activate the command. This time, as shown in the picture, I chose to use a mouse click instead.

2. Distance Factor
When you decrease the Distance Factor value in the parameter settings, you can shorten the path of the parts during the Explode process.

3. Scenerio: Explode
The scenario we have created here means that every time I click on the Explode/Collapse button (left click), the Cover A component is exploded.

4. Scenario: Collapse
The scenario we have created here means that every time I click on the Explode/Collapse button (right click), the Cover A component is collapsed.
