In April 2025, PTC introduced the Onshape AI Advisor, a smart new feature in its cloud-based CAD platform. The AI Advisor is designed to help you work faster and smarter by providing real-time expert advice as you design your products.

What Is Onshape AI Advisor?

The AI Advisor is like having a personal expert who is always available to answer any Onshape-related question you have. It’s powered by Amazon’s Bedrock technology, making it a very smart assistant that can help you navigate Onshape easily.

Onshape has been collecting learning materials for over ten years, including help documents, tips, tutorials, and webinars. All of this information is free and available to everyone. The AI Advisor uses all of these resources to answer your questions and guide you through the software.

How Does It Work?
