A new Screen Emulation feature allows you to preview content in specific aspect ratios directly from the Canvas Bar. This means you can easily test how your experience will appear on different devices, ensuring better responsiveness and display accuracy.
Managing the visibility of objects in Authoring and Play modes is now much more intuitive. With direct access from the Canvas Bar, adjusting display settings is faster and more accessible. Additionally, a new 2D Actors category has been introduced to improve object organization.
The Stellar Physically Correct Interactive render mode is now more accessible from the Action Bar, offering better performance and rendering quality. Changes include:
You can now apply decals from design applications to published web and optimized experiences, enhancing the visual appeal of your projects. This is particularly useful for adding branding elements and product highlights.
Playing VR experiences is now easier—the IHD prerequisite has been removed. You no longer need to purchase an IHD license or tokens to remove watermarks. Instead, you only need a role that includes VR features, such as Marketing Experience Creator. Some outdated VR commands have also been deactivated to streamline the VR experience.
Now, Stellar and Stellar (Interactive) commands can be used directly while playing an experience. This enhancement lets you quickly preview high-quality rendering results. However, keep in mind that activating Stellar mode in Play Mode may cause a brief pause due to renderer initialization, which can impact animations.
Exposed product animations now support Graphical Properties updates in Play Mode. This means animations will better reflect changes made in engineering applications, including:
These updates ensure that animations maintain better consistency with their original designs.
The Creative Experience material library now includes 3DS PBR 25x materials, offering improved realism with new Coating and Volume properties:
Additionally, three new materials—Plastic (back-colored), Plastic (thin), and Titanium—have been added. These materials are also available for scripting via JavaScript.
The Creative Experience 3DEXCITE 2025 update brings exciting enhancements that make visualization, animation, and interactivity more efficient and realistic.
