3DEXPERIENCE® World is a big event for people who design and make things using SOLIDWORKS software. After a successful gathering in Houston, Texas, in February 2025, the next 3DEXPERIENCE World 2026 event is planned for February 1-4, 2026, also in Houston.

Highlights from 3DX World 2025

AI and Generative Design Focus

The conference highlighted the expanding influence of artificial intelligence (AI) and generative design in product development. Participants explored how these technologies are revolutionizing the industry, driving more efficient and innovative design processes. A key moment came when Manish Kumar introduced Aura, an AI design assistant equipped with SOLIDWORKS best practices, designed to adapt and learn from your unique design approaches.

Student and Educator Engagement

At the end of the session, Suchit Jain introduced the SkillsForce program, which will provide students with free access to SOLIDWORKS commercial licenses during their internships and work with companies, removing the cost barrier and allowing them to gain hands-on experience with professional engineering tools. The program, starting on April 15, 2025, on the anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s birth, aims to support young talent in design and engineering. The conference also highlighted the importance of student and educator engagement, showcasing student projects and introducing initiatives like SkillsForce, which offers free licenses to students during internships, encouraging the growth of future engineering professionals.

3DEXPERIENCE EDU Booth: Inspiring the Next Generation of Engineers

The 3DEXPERIENCE EDU booth at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025 showcased amazing student projects, giving students a chance to present their ideas and talents. This was a fantastic opportunity for students to receive feedback and recognition from industry experts. A New Era of Design with Apple Vision Pro

Gian Paolo Bassi shared exciting news about a new partnership between Dassault Systèmes and Apple Vision Pro. This will be included in the next version of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform! With this new technology, users will be able to explore virtual worlds and unlock new opportunities in design and production.
